Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to lead our core team responsible for creating advanced models and applications that drive our credit risk and digital mortgage platforms. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling our backend systems to ensure reliability, security, and performance. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and other developers to deliver robust solutions that power our financial services, including leveraging generative AI and AI agents for enhanced decision-making and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and APIs that support our digital mortgage and credit risk products.
• Architect scalable and secure backend solutions using .NET, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and frontend developers, to integrate complex models and AI-driven solutions into our production environment.
• Implement and optimize generative AI models and AI agents to enhance decision-making processes, automate workflows, and improve customer experiences.
• Optimize and refactor existing codebases for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
• Drive technical discussions and decisions, providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on building scalable and high-performance applications.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL, and other relevant backend technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, including microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with generative AI models, AI agents, and machine learning frameworks is highly desirable.
• Experience in integrating AI-driven solutions into backend services and applications.
• Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and performance tuning.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
• Experience in the fintech industry or working with financial models and data is a plus.
