Senior Data Scientist

SignalPET is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative team at SignalPET. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in machine learning and deep learning techniques, a proven track record of delivering complex ML-based projects, and experience in computer vision, with an understanding of large-scale systems.

SignalPET is a technology and AI leader in the veterinary field. Using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and patented technology, SignalPET assists veterinarians in diagnosing and treating companion animals worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and development initiatives in deep learning, with a focus on computer vision applications
• Design and implement advanced machine learning algorithms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for complex data science challenges
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in deep learning and actively contribute to the company's technological progression

Requirement

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a strong emphasis on deep learning techniques in real-world applications
• Expertise in computer vision and its applications; experience in the medical field is advantageous
• Proven success in delivering complex machine learning projects to production
• Proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and feature engineering
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed computing
