What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage an R&D team of 6-7 engineers, including developers and QA/automation specialists, reporting to the group R&D manager.
• Develop the team by coaching, mentoring, and supporting individual engineers' growth.
• Drive the design, development, and quality of functional and technical capabilities within a large-scale platform, with a focus on performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Own and shape part of the product’s technical and functional roadmap and vision.
• Establish best practices for development, CI/CD, security, monitoring, and technical guidelines.
• Foster innovation within the team, facilitating new ideas and initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Business Owners, DevOps, IT, and other cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate effectively with local and remote, multi-geo R&D and non-R&D teams to maintain visibility and smooth communication.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for the team.
• Stay hands-on (20%) by developing features, fixing bugs, conducting code reviews, running POCs, and exploring new technologies.

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 2+ years leading R&D teams of 4+ members.
• Extensive experience in developing 24x7 mission-critical services in cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure).
• Strong proficiency in C#, SQL, Redis, and messaging systems.
• Expertise in software architecture and development best practices (SOLID, Clean Code, Clean Architecture).
• Full-stack experience with Angular or JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, etc.
• Results-oriented, self-learner, problem solver with a "can-do" attitude.
• Adaptable to change and self-managed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to engage effectively with senior management.
• Strong team player with fluent English.
