We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our global technology strategy and operations, transforming our technological infrastructure and positioning us for future growth.

Position Summary

As CTO, you will be a key executive team member, responsible for defining and executing the company’s global technology vision. You will lead the strategy for our software, data platforms, and infrastructure, ensuring that innovation, security, and operational excellence are at the forefront. You will oversee all technology-related decisions and operations, managing the technology P&L and budget, and ensuring that our technology strategy aligns with our business goals. Leading teams across multiple international locations, you will have ultimate responsibility for Engineering, DevSecOps, Information Security, and Enterprise IT.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

• Develop and implement a forward-looking technology strategy that drives innovation, supports business objectives, and positions Jade as a leader in data-driven solutions.
• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership to influence and shape the overall business strategy through technological advancements.
• Own and manage the technology P&L and budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation, cost-effectiveness, and technology ROI.
• Drive the company’s AI and machine learning agenda, leveraging advanced data engineering solutions to build competitive advantages.

Technology & Innovation Management

• Oversee the development, evolution, and maintenance of a diverse technology stack, including:
• Advanced AI-powered data solutions that empower decision-making in Israel and Latin America.
• Enterprise web applications and SaaS platforms trusted by leading organizations.
• Consumer mobile applications with nearly 1 million active users.
• Legacy systems requiring thoughtful modernization strategies.
• Champion the adoption of emerging technologies and modern software practices to future-proof our platforms and accelerate growth.
• Lead cloud strategy optimization, balancing performance and cost in a multi-cloud environment.

Engineering & DevSecOps Excellence

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and innovation across engineering teams in Tel Aviv, Zagreb, and São Paulo.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable software development lifecycles.
• Ensure our technology infrastructure and operations meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security.

Information Security & Risk Management

• Maintain and enhance a comprehensive information security strategy, aligning with industry standards including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001.
• Lead the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity programs to safeguard company and client data.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technological risks, ensuring a robust, secure, and compliant environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales to align technology initiatives with customer needs and market demands.
• Serve as a key technology advisor to the business, helping translate complex technological requirements into effective solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts that align with Jade’s technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in senior technology leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years managing large, geographically dispersed engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success in scaling technology organizations and leading complex technology transformations.
• Proven expertise in managing P&Ls and technology budgets, with a track record of maximizing resource allocation.
• Deep understanding of modern tech stacks, including:
• AI-driven data solutions and advanced data engineering techniques (e.g., Python, ML frameworks).
• Enterprise SaaS platforms and architectures.
• Legacy systems modernization and technical debt management.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles and experience with security-first development environments.
• Experience leading enterprise IT infrastructure and operations in a multi-location environment.
• A deep understanding of information security standards and regulatory compliance.
• Experience building technology teams from the ground up and fostering a high-performance, innovative culture.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with executive teams and align technology initiatives with business strategies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Location

This position is based at our headquarters in Tel Aviv, with occasional travel to our other locations in Zagreb, São Paulo, and beyond.
