Mechanical Engineer

Medical Startup in the Pneumatics Field, located in Sderot, is looking for a Mechanical Designer. We are seeking someone excited to be part of something new.

Responsibilities:

- Design various mechanical mechanisms

- Design pneumatic circuits

- Plan and execute experiments at the component and system level

- Perform analytical calculations supported by simulations

- Work with subcontractors both locally and abroad, including traveling to suppliers for development activities

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent – mandatory

- 4+ years of experience in mechanical design – mandatory

- Experience in designing mechanisms – mandatory

- Experience with pneumatic systems – a significant advantage

- Experience in the medical field – an advantage

- Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as CNC, enclosure, injection molding, casting, 3D printing – advantage

- Knowledge of electromechanical components, experience working with suppliers both locally and internationally – advantage

- Experience in leading development experiments, defining, characterizing, generating reports, and protocols – advantage

- "Bulldozer" mentality – unafraid to ask questions and dive into new areas
