DevSecOps Team Lead

Overview

Dynamic Yield by MasterCard is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Team Lead to secure and automate our cloud environments. In this role, you’ll ensure our production environment meets top security standards while integrating cutting-edge technologies. You'll lead security initiatives, drive automation in CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development and operations teams. Your expertise in AWS security services and DevSecOps practices will be crucial for enhancing our cloud security and managing incident response

Role

• Lead a small team of DevSecOps professionals in maintaining and enhancing platform security.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of comprehensive security solutions to protect our systems and data.
• Develop and deploy advanced solutions to automate security tool integration and enhance overall security posture.
• Implement robust information security controls and patterns to support risk assessments and the creation of secure architectures.
• Work closely with Product & Data Security, Engineering, and DevOps teams to define and execute security strategies and initiatives.
• Lead efforts to establish and enforce security best practices and standards across the development lifecycle.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
  
  

• At least 4 years in a DevOps/DevSecOps lead role with a strong focus on live production systems.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or relevant military experience. Self-taught hackers with a strong track record are also encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience in cloud security principles, securing and managing production environments on AWS.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker Compose.
• Experience with monitoring and log analytics tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or EFK stack.
• Strong ability to collaborate with development, DevOps, NOC, support, and QA teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities.
