As the Head of AI at Finaloop, you are tasked with creating the company’s AI vision, shaping the strategy and carrying it out to ensure we effectively capitalize on the full potential of our data. You will oversee and manage a talented team of data scientists, ML engineers and data analysts, driving the development and implementation of advanced AI models and data analytics applications. You will be responsible for setting the direction for strategic AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and collaborating with  all relevant units. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on background in AI and data science, coupled with an applicative ML & AI experience in large scale production environments, as well as a proven track record of people and technology leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the AI strategy and drive adoption of strategic AI initiatives
• Build the company’s Data & ML roadmap and execute on it
• Manage the team and provide professional guidance
• Work with data engineering to ensure the infrastructure supports the Data strategy
• Work laterally to promote data and AI initiatives across the organization
• Advocate and drive a data-centric approach & mindset in the company

Requirements:

• 8+ years experience in data science / applied ML, at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
• Expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data architecture tools
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Good understanding and practical experience with Software and ML engineering
• Proven ability to grow, lead and develop teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
