Controller & Internal Auditor

Elmo is looking for a Controller & Internal Auditor to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Develop financial forecasts, monitor budgets, and compare budgeted figures against actual performance.
• Work closely with the company's external CPAs to resolve accounting issues.
• Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for improving financial procedures and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Planning, managing and executing audits, i.e. execution of internal audit reports, which combines writing an audit plan, executing the plan (including collecting information and making samples) and writing concise audit reports.
• Responsibility for Internal Audits across Elmo Group of companies (Israel and abroad).
• Analyzing processes while identifying risks in the process and recommendations addressing key priorities.
• Performing tasks at the same time, working under pressure of schedules.
• Independent learning and ability to work both individually and in a team.

Qualifications

• Certified CPA - mandatory
• Experience of at least 4 years in the field (including internship) - mandatory
• Previous experience as a controller- a must
• Work experience in one of the big4- a must
• Knowledge or exposure to audit techniques and accounting standards such as IFRS, GAAP, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404) is preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to interact with senior management across countries and cultures is preferred
• High proficiency in English speaking and in writing – must
• Attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of work performed
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and commitment to meet reporting deadlines
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills are preferred
• Ability to work under own initiative, and enthusiasm to drive through change is preferred
