Marketplace Business Development Manager

We are a cybersecurity vendor expanding into the MSSP market. We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketplace Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing partnerships with key marketplaces, ensuring seamless technical integration, and driving sales through various in-marketplace initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, sales & business expertise, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilitie

• sIdentify and connect with strategic marketplaces to initiate and cultivate partnership
• sNegotiate and formalize partnership agreements to expand our marketplace presence
• .Collaborate with Product Managers and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration with marketplaces
• .Work closely with PSA tools to manage project workflows and documentation
• .Ensure the availability and functionality of necessary APIs, developing new ones as needed
• .Post-integration, focus on driving sales through the marketplace by adding more products and ensuring they are effectively sold
• .Develop and implement in-marketplace initiatives, such as promotions, campaigns, and co-marketing activities
• .Utilize Market Development Funds to support sales and marketing efforts
• .Maintain regular communication with marketplace development representatives through weekly calls
• .Address any issues or opportunities that arise, ensuring a productive and collaborative partnership
• .Provide technical support and guidance to marketplace partners during the integration process

Qualificatio

• ns2-5 years of proven experience in marketplace management, sales operation, business development, or a similar rol
• e.Strong technical understanding and the ability to work closely with PMs and R&D team
