Computational Architectural Designer

Position: Computational Designer – Advanced Algorithmic & Parametric Systems

De la Fontaine Architecture is seeking an architect to join our team of Computational Designers, specializing in algorithmic design and parametric modeling to join our research-driven team in Tel Aviv. This role involves cutting-edge computational work on international projects, where complex geometries and advanced facade systems define architectural innovation.

Role Scope:

• Algorithm Development: Conceive and implement custom algorithms for facade generation, structural optimization, and responsive systems.

• Parametric Design: Lead the development of parametric workflows, building adaptable skin systems and intricate surface geometries.

• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and fabricators to drive data-driven designs from concept to construction.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in computational or algorithmic design.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Grasshopper, Rhino, and Revit; scripting capabilities in Python or C# are a plus.

• Education: Master’s degree in Architecture, Computational Design, or a related field is highly desirable.
