Storekeeper

Job description:

The Storekeeper will manage receiving, organizing, and dispatching goods to ensure smooth inventory and project operations. This role involves using a forklift, coordinating with installation teams, and maintaining accurate records of stock.

Responsibilities:

• Goods Reception:

  • Receive deliveries (containers and individual pallets from sea or air imports).
  • Unload items using a forklift, organizing them efficiently in the designated area.

• Inventory Organization:

  • Count, sort, label, and catalog equipment upon receipt.
  • Store items by project or department, noting precise physical locations for quick access.
  • Regularly update stock data in the inventory management system to reflect any changes in item quantity or location.

• Order Preparation:

  • Assemble kits for daily and nighttime installations, following the project schedule.
  • Coordinate with company installation managers and contractors to meet project needs.

• Stock Maintenance:

  • Organize and arrange current inventory to ensure a clean and orderly storage area.
  • Ensure accurate records, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety and security standards in the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Education: 12 years of schooling (high school diploma).
• Languages: Proficient in Hebrew; basic English skills.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Office software and inventory management systems.
• License: Forklift operator license required.
• Location: Resides in the central region or nearby.
