SEO Team Leader

We are an established online media company with a portfolio of Multilanguage global publishers and affiliate sites in the finance vertical. We are seeking an SEO Star to lead our SEO team.

About The Role:

As the SEO Team Leader, you will own and lead the SEO strategies and governance, setting the framework for future SEO success and beyond. You will be a source of knowledge for all things SEO, proactively sharing ideas and recommendations on the latest developments in SEO and the wider industry. You will be a champion of the data and trends and own the narrative and comms alongside our Chief of Content and Operations Manager.

The role requires managing an established team of SEO professionals. Working alongside the marketing and operations teams to ensure effective SEO content strategies across existing and future sites and to significantly grow traffic and domain authority.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of SEO experience - leading successful SEO strategies, backlink building, and utilizing enterprise SEO products.
• 2+ Experience in at least one of these: online publishing, gaming or affiliate marketing, finance vertical is a must.
• Proven leadership experience - able to lead and inspire a medium-sized SEO team and engage with product and content teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Experience educating and training team members on SEO tactics and strategy
• You are a master at all SEO analysis tools, including GSC and GA4.
• Experience in multi-language and global SEO tactics - A big advantage
• Strong background in both technical SEO and content marketing
• A team player doing hands-on SEO to ensure optimal search performance
• Problem-solving mindset
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
• Self-motivated and self-starter
