What we are seeking: a dynamic and driven VP of Business Development to join our executive team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company and the industry at large. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, a deep understanding of industrial processes, and a passion for sustainability. As a key member of our founding team, you will be instrumental in driving growth and positioning as a leader in VOC abatement technology.
Location: 80% Rehovot & 20% Herzliya (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Business Intelligence:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Provide insights and recommendations to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance and Industry Standards:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards related to VOC emissions.
- Stay updated on changes in environmental policies, regulations, and industry standards, and communicate these changes to the team.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to ensure abatement systems meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to navigate regulatory landscapes in various markets and secure necessary approvals and certifications.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive company growth and market penetration.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define and achieve Short and long-term strategic goals.
- Partnerships and Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, potential clients, and investors.
- Negotiate and secure strategic design partners to enhance market position and capabilities.
- Financial Acumen and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Identify and secure funding opportunities to support company growth and expansion.
- Product and Market Expansion:
- Drive the adoption of abatement system in various industrial sectors.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- An experience of at least 5 years in business development, preferably in international markets and with multinational corporations (ideally semiconductors), focusing on industrial processes and environmental technologies.
- Understanding of industrial emissions, abatement technologies, and sustainability practices is a plus!
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A fluent English speaker
- An ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Leadership and team-building skills demonstrated.
