We’re looking for a talented IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT team and support IT 

The Opportunity.

The Hi-tech global company seeks a Desktop Support Specialist to oversee IT support needs at our office. You, along with other members of the EMEA-based team, will be responsible for providing and maintaining reliable employee connectivity of office IT systems and desktop solutions across our global workforce. You must be comfortable working independently and be willing to actively take on a range of responsibilities from setting strategy to completing individual requests

• Facilitate new user On-boarding with the setting up of IT equipment and access
• Assist users in setting up video conferencing facilities
• Plan and manage capacity for hardware and software to cater to business needs
• Maintain IT facilities in the office and server rack
• Lead local IT vendor relationships
• Oversee and maintain an inventory of company assets, systems and peripherals
• Respond to help desk requests and work to improve the support process
• Assist with support tasks related to operating systems, software applications, wireless networks, networking, VoIP issues, and printers
• Provide technical training and guidance to both onsite and remote employees
• Create, update, and maintain knowledge articles in our knowledge management system

• This position offers a distinctive schedule that includes alternating between 2 days and 3 days each week.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, and documenting. problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems and assessing the impact of issues.

·        Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
• Set up new user accounts and profiles and deal with the password issue.

Qualifications

• 2+ year experience in an IT Support role
• experience in supporting Windows operating systems -Must

·        Good understanding of IT environments (GPO, Single Sign-On, Active directory, O365)- Must

·        Experience with Hardware components (Desktops, Laptops, printers)-Must

·        Experience with Hardware components (Desktops, Laptops, printers)-Must

·        Knowledge of networking components and infrastructure (Lan/Wan, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS-Must

·        Knowledge of Linux – Advantage

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English – Must

·        System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields – Advantage

·        Strong communication skills for interfacing with employees in a multitasking environment.
