Data Scientist

A Fintech startup that has developed an AI/ML system to support decision-making and risk management in the fields of lending and investment for growth-stage startups, transforming the loan process for large companies. The patented technology can forecast future revenue, cash flow, client repayment ability, and more.

The company has sites in London, the U.S., and other locations, backed by prominent investors with funding already exceeding $150M. They are growing rapidly, offering competitive and excellent benefits. Based in Tel Aviv, near a train line, with a team of 100 employees.

The role involves 90% theoretical/research work in ML, focusing on Data Science tasks, including working with structured data, text, LLM/NLP challenges, Time Series, and Generative AI.

Responsibilities include tasks like Document Classification, Entity Recognition, Statistical Analysis, and Sentiment Analysis, with coding in Python and SQL. You will work as part of a team with Data Scientists and MLEs who assist with deployment to production, collaborating closely with the Product Management team.

Requirements-

• MSc/Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, statistics, econometrics, or equivalent
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a data scientist
• Experience in Time Series Analysis and Large Language Models (LLM)
• Proficiency in Python
• Solid understanding of NLP techniques, including document classification, entity recognition, and sentiment analysis.
• Extensive background in statistical analysis
• Profound analytical skills and true love for data
• A multitasking team player with the ability to work independently
