Mechanics Team Leader

We are looking for a creative mechanics team leader to join our engineering team and lead the mechanics activity of our silicon photonics fiber-to-chip connectivity solution. You will be a key player of a growing team for the development and productization of our innovative PhotonicPlug platform for scalable silicon photonics packaging. Our engineering team is multi-disciplinary and integrates knowledge from various fields: photonics, electro and mechano-optics, mechanics, semiconductor, thermodynamics and materials. Qualifications

B.Sc or M.Sc in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of experience

In-depth understanding in the mechanics of electro-optics packaging and fiber assembly products

Significant experience in mechanical precision technologies, opto-mechanical design and manufacturing, thermal management, test and assembly, materials and adhesives.

Experienced with semiconductor and electronics packaging technologies

Proven experience work with suppliers for prototyping and high-volume manufacturing

Experience in CAD and Solidworks

Experience in FEA software (e.g. Ansys) for thermal design, simulations and analysis
