System and Automation Engineer intern

About the role:

Join our dynamic team as a Student System and Automation Engineer.

The role is designed for a motivated and honored student who has more than a year left until graduation,

offering hands-on experience in system engineering and automation development.

You'll contribute to real projects, hone your skills, and expand your knowledge in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and implementing automation infrastructure and tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as mechanical, software and RF engineers.
• Document processes, create test plans, execute, and report it.
• Contribute to the innovation team by developing machine learning capabilities.
• Improve existing company products and processes through innovative solutions and automation.

Required Skills:

• An Electrical Engineering honors student, with more than a year left until graduation.
• Able to work on Python right away, with experience in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Highly motivated – can-do approach
• Independent research skills
• Good understanding of overall QA methodologies and process

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with automation development and QA
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Solid knowledge in RF and Satellite Communication
• Familiar with lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, fluke)

Ability to commit to 2-3 working days per week
