Junior AI Researcher

An AI-focused startup aiming to revolutionize the way scents are designed to drive consumer products, enabling precise molecular-level scent control to fully shape the olfactory experience for consumers. This includes enhancing enjoyment, eliminating unpleasant odors, addressing cost and regulatory issues, and more, for products where scent is a critical component.

Located in the Sharon area with a hybrid model of three remote workdays, the company has about 30 employees, including around 20 based in Israel. It’s a stable, well-funded tech startup currently partnering with leading Fortune 500 companies in the consumer goods and food industries.

Role Overview:

• Part of a collaborative team, with an opportunity for transitioning from academic to industry experience through in-house training by the team.
• Working with diverse datasets, including tabular data, molecules, solutions, and more.
• Engaged in research and development of ML/AI models from ideation through execution.
• Coding primarily in Python and SQL, with responsibilities covering data collection, experiment design, and model development.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree, thesis related to ML or equivalent industry experience.
• 2 years of research experience in academia or industry.
