System Specialist

Position: Senior System Administrator for a Leading Financial Company

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT systems, including networks, routers, and servers. This role requires in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in managing complex systems and networks.

Responsibilities:

• Management and maintenance of Windows servers and virtual environments
• Operation and maintenance of communication networks, including routers, switches, and additional network equipment
• Planning and implementing advanced network solutions and communication infrastructure
• Monitoring and overseeing IT systems and servers, identifying and resolving issues
• User and permissions management in Active Directory
• Maintenance of data backup and recovery systems
• Leading technology projects and upgrading existing systems

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role – mandatory
• Familiarity with the capital markets/financial industry – a significant advantage
• Strong technical background – Microsoft System Administrator, with a preference for knowledge in information security
• Knowledge of Nutanix products – an advantage
• Knowledge of EDR solutions – an advantage
• Experience in managing and operating communication networks, including routers, switches, and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) – an advantage
• Experience in managing backup and recovery systems (such as Veeam, Backup Exec, Cohesity) – an advantage
• Quick learning ability
• Strong service orientation
