Technical Presales Professional - Energy Sector

We are looking for a qualified candidate with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the global energy landscape to join our team as a Technical Presales Professional. This role combines responsibilities of a presales manager with those of a software systems engineer, requiring collaboration with prospects, clients, sales, marketing, product teams, R&D, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical presales initiatives and effectively communicate our capabilities in the energy sector.
• Analyze customer needs and present our products as optimal solutions.
• Monitor customer behavior to anticipate future product development needs.
• Support the sales team in identifying and engaging new customers.
• Manage responses to RFX (requests for proposal) processes and unsolicited offers.
• Collaborate with R&D and delivery teams on system engineering projects.

Technical Engineering Responsibilities:

• Understand and design robust architectures for power systems and distribution networks.
• Create requirement specifications (SRS) and detailed design documents (DLD) aligned with customer needs.
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize components for efficiency and reliability.
• Develop product roadmaps that align with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• MBA is a plus.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, especially in the energy sector.
• Proven experience with global clients.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand client demands.
• Self-starter with independent work capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with real-time systems and communication protocols (e.g., SCADA, IEC 61850).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, virtualization, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with UI/UX design, including mockups and wireframes.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in energy management.
• Fluent in English with willingness to travel extensively.
