Responsibilities:

Facility & EHS Manager

• Oversee site operations, including facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and smooth functioning.
• Implement EHS policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of safety.
• Manage waste disposal, including hazardous waste, to meet environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
• Coordinate with service providers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to maintain high-quality facilities.
• Led maintenance teams for cleanroom equipment, including WFI and Bioreactors, ensuring preventive maintenance.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures and manage tenant services with KPI monitoring.
• Ensure safety compliance with SOPs, CAPA, HACCP, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Handle operational areas such as permits, security, pest control, and business continuity.

Process Scale-Up & Validation:

• Lead scale-up and validation of processes from lab to production, aligning with cost, efficiency, and quality.

Technology Transfer:

• Manage technology transfer from R&D to production, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years in process validation, scale-up, or technology transfer, ideally in biotech/pharma.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, including maintenance/engineering staff.
• Strong knowledge of process validation and R&D project scaling.
• Solid understanding of EHS regulations with experience in compliance and safety leadership.
• Familiarity with cleanrooms, bioreactors, and critical equipment.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment focused on high-quality outcomes.
