QA and Automation Engineer

Pomvom is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be crucial in ensuring the high quality of all company products, spanning web applications, cloud services, and backend core services. You'll be the key liaison between the R&D and Product teams, overseeing the entire lifecycle of relevant "user stories" from inception to delivery.

Responsibilities:

 Take ownership of the quality of all company products, from web applications to cloud services and backend core services.

Design, write, and implement automated test scripts, bringing efficiency and accuracy to our testing processes.

 Act as the representative bridging the gap between R&D and Product, managing relevant "user stories" throughout the development process.

 Work closely with teams of expert developers, and the product department to solve complex problems

 Execute QA cycles within a tight release schedule.

 Gain a deep understanding of major public cloud infrastructures (GCP/AWS)

 Be involved in integration processes with the DevOps of hardware integration, and system configuration

 Debug failures in complex environments

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience with both frontend and backend testing of cloud-based services – A must.

At least 2-3 years of experience developing automated tests in Python – A must.

Experience with backend testing with Postman.

Experience with GitHub actions and Jenkins.

Knowledge of Selenium - an advantage.

Knowledge in an on-prem environment - an advantage.

Strong sense of ownership.

Positive ‘can do’ mindset.
