Production system operator

An exceptional Ag-tech /Food-tech startup is looking for a Production System Operator.

Definition & Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial cultivation systems, ensuring optimal performance and yield.
• Perform routine checks, adjustments, and calibrations of equipment to support automated processes.
• Support planting, irrigation, harvesting, and monitoring operations in a sterile environment, adhering to strict working protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and ensure system efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of system performance, production data, and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with production team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D) to implement process improvements and optimize system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

· No prior experience required.

· High school graduate with preference given to students or graduates in engineering disciplines, or those holding a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

· Understanding of cultivation processes, irrigation systems, and/or Agrotech solutions – An advantege

· Basic Technical knowledge with an ability to troubleshoot mechanical and automated systems.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to details and problem-solving skills.

· Flexibility to work shifts and handle physical tasks as needed.

· Must be a hands-on worker capable of executing tasks independently and efficiently.

· Independent, fast learner, self-motivated, ability to multitask, detail- and result-oriented,

· Well-organized, responsible and reliable individual.

· Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

· Good level of English. Ability to read and write basic English text and work instructions.
