A joint venture between the Jewish Food Society (NYC) and Start-Up Nation Central (Tel Aviv), Asif explores local food culture through research, exhibitions, workshops, publications, and culinary experiences.

Position Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Marketing Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan targeting Jewish communities primarily in the US and UK. This role will be reporting to the CEO and will focus on sharing Asif's rich content, programming, and cultural initiatives with English-speaking Jewish audiences abroad.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan targeting Jewish communities primarily in the US and UK with Asif's content and mission.
• Create compelling narratives around Asif's exhibitions, publications, and programming for English-speaking audiences
• Handling public relations needs with international media, including but not limited to Jewish platforms.
• Build and maintain relationships with Jewish cultural organizations, media outlets, and community leaders in target markets
• Manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (social media, email, web)
• Oversee content adaptation and localization of Asif's materials for US/UK audiences
• Track and analyze marketing metrics to optimize engagement and reach
• Collaborate with Asif's content team to identify stories and programming with particular resonance for diaspora audiences
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives around special events, publications, and cultural programs
• Manage marketing budget for international outreach activities
• Working with the organization’s content manager and social media team on ongoing daily English content for the organization’s digital assets.

Required Qualifications

• English at a mother-tongue level with US background
• 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in cultural institutions or Jewish organizations
• Proven track record marketing content/programming to US Jewish communities
• Deep understanding of American Jewish cultural landscape and communities
• Experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and audience development
• Strong writing and editing skills in English
• Demonstrated ability to tell compelling cultural stories
• Experience with marketing analytics and performance tracking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cultural institutions, museums, or culinary organizations
• Knowledge of food writing and culinary content
• Understanding of Israeli culture and society
• Hebrew language proficiency
• Experience with event marketing and community engagement
• Network within Jewish cultural organizations in the US/UK
