Information Technology (IT) Solutions Manager

Our client is a well-established global company, with offices strategically located across Europe, USA and APAC, and a trusted reputation in the industry. With their significant growth the company has established a new job position for an IT solutions Manager to join the growing technology department.

The IT Solutions Manager will play a key role in defining the company’s architecture of IT systems, through identifying gaps in current applications and exploring new technology solutions to support strategic initiatives and drive innovation. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the digital transformation of a growing aviation company.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the company’s current business applications and systems to identify gaps, and design new IT architecture solutions to meet business needs, while ensuring the optimal use of resources and compliance with IT governance and security standards.
• Research and recommend innovative IT solutions on the market to address identified gaps, and delegate the implementation of the approved solutions to the appropriate IT teams.
• Work closely with business leaders, IT managers, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Oversee the development and implementation of IT solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with the overall IT strategy.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, including system diagrams, process flows, and integration details, to ensure a clear understanding across teams.
• Identify potential risks in the IT architecture and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT function, focusing on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service delivery.
• Ensure that all solutions comply with industry regulations, data protection standards, and company policies.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years experience in IT architecture, solution design and implementation, and understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• A passion for staying current with the latest technology trends and applying them to drive business innovation.
