Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Description:

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Mechanical Designer to join our R&D team. The Mechanical Designer will play an essential role in product design, starting from customer requirements through to design, prototyping, testing, and analysis.

We are looking for someone with a high level of self-management, order and organization, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and a strong belief that you as an engineer can resolve this challenge - better.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new products according to customer requirements.

Lead projects from concept design through to implementation by the client.

Support the production team directly on the work floor.

Plan, execute, and analyze field tests.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in a similar role.

Proven experience with SolidWorks and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).

Mechanical Engineering expertise along with strong design engineering and machine design skills.

Skills and Attributes:

Strong team player with excellent organization skills; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Hands-on experience in lab and assembly of prototypes.

Background in RC modeling is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Python and Arduino-based projects (build, code).

Familiarity with 3D printed prototyping.

A creative thinker with curiosity and the ability to think outside the box.
