The opportunity:

The Head of Global Functions Finance will be responsible for all FP&A activities and Finance business partnership support of Teva’s Global Support Functions, working closely with the executive Global Functions members. The activities include budgeting processes, accounting treatment, 3rd party contracting, financial systems, etc.

The incumbent will manage directly the Finance IT team, will be a member of the IT leadership team, work closely with Teva’s CIO and the IT leadership team as well as other stakeholders in IT and Procurement. That’s in addition to leading the other Global Support Functions finance, split between two teams, each led by a Finance Business partner: 1. Legal, Compliance, IA and Board of Directors, and 2. Finance Business partner for HR & Corp. Affairs, Finance & GBS, Insurance, and CEO office.

How you’ll spend your day:

• Lead all financial planning and reporting processes, focusing on P&L and Cash flow, and lead cost optimization initiatives
• Develop strong business partnership with Enterprise mindset and an innate ability to enable business leaders to make better decisions and improve performance
• Provide recommendations to strategically enhance the financial performance of the various global functions
• Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts
• Engage with procurement on contracts, review and approve financial terms and confirm planning is consistent with contract value
• Build strong relationships across functions within the company, work closely with various functions (FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, GBS, etc.)
• Ensure standardization of the work of the Global Functions Finance team, constantly striving for more automation of processes for more efficient, accurate and faster work

Your experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Accounting
• Minimum 15 years of financial experience in a large international corporation
• Minimum 8 years of experience in managerial roles, including managing managers
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a global BP
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization (including Executives) and with staff at remote locations
• Proven ability to successfully manage a multinational team of professionals dealing with multiple tasks within tight timelines, while being adaptable and flexible
• Proactive approach to stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels within an organization, including members of the executive leadership team
• Analytical mindset, but also creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches
• Versatile profile with hands-on ability as well as strategic thinker with ability to step back and assess the big picture
• Resilience facing workload, tight timelines, and competing priorities
