Senior Scientist – Molecular Biology (mRNA Expertise) 3138

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scientist with expertise in molecular biology, focusing on mRNA IVT, capping, purification and characterization, to join a dynamic team. This role will involve designing and executing experiments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovative research and development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and conduct experiments related to mRNA research.
• Collaborate with scientists across different disciplines to drive multidisciplinary projects.
• Investigate mRNA biochemistry, including transcription, translation, and stability.
• Work with mRNA In Vitro Transcription (IVT), capping, purification, and characterization.
• Formulate and characterize mRNA delivery systems, particularly using lipid nanoparticles.
• Analyze mRNA expression, stability, and immunogenicity using cell-based and in-vivo assays.

Scientific qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry or a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in mRNA research (industry experience is an advantage)
• Expertise in molecular biology techniques including construct design and cloning
• Strong understanding of mRNA biochemistry, including transcription, translation, and stability
• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in mRNA IVT, capping, purification and characterization
• Expertise in mRNA delivery systems, particularly lipid nanoparticle formulation and characterization
• Expertise in characterizing mRNA expression, stability, and immunogenicity using cell-based and in-vivo assays
