Engineering Team Lead (AI R&D team)

A software development company is looking for an Engineering Team Lead to join a brand-new AI R&D team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building a new team and contributing to the development of generative AI capabilities. You will help define the strategy for leveraging LLMs, train models using proprietary data, and productize these capabilities as part of their AI offerings.

The AI team is responsible for end-to-end development of generative AI features, creating innovative experiences for users and building next-generation tools to enhance the platform. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a journey that pushes the boundaries of AI technology.

• Proven experience in managing a team and leading projects from concept to delivery.
• Ability to oversee and centralize team activities such as feature development, automation, testing, bug management, and sprint planning within an Agile framework.
• Experience developing features end-to-end, from product conception, collaboration with UI/UX teams, development, testing, deployment, to post-launch analysis.
• Passion for both client-side and server-side development.
• Experience in scaling teams, nurturing talent, and leading high-pace hiring processes.
• Strong technical and product skills with a focus on delivering impactful, high-quality tools.
