DevOps Engineer

Israel’s top-spending PPC agency whose ads reach millions of viewers daily is looking for a looking for a Junior to Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in AWS and software development.

The company runs large-scale campaigns for leading brands on social networks, video, and display, and develops innovative ad optimization technologies. They serve an international clientele, with an emphasis on the United States.

The ideal candidate will take charge of the company's in-house application, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and performance. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the development team and be a part of daily development.

Key Responsibilities

• In-House Application Management:
• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of the company's in-house application.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• AWS Infrastructure: Configure and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Gitops, Git Actions etc.) to support application needs.
• CI/CD: Maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Collaboration and Support: Be a part of the development team to integrate new features and improvements.
• Provide support for development environments and assist in code deployments.
• Scripting and Automation: Write scripts in Python, Bash, Java or other languages to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Develop tools and processes to enhance operational workflows.
• Monitoring and Logging: Maintenance of monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  
  

• Experience: 1 years of experience in DevOps or Software Development roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Java or similar languages.
• Understanding of networking concepts and Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
