Role Overview

As a Senior Back-End Engineer, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to design and deliver impactful features.
• Architect, develop, and enhance services at scale to meet diverse customer needs, with end-to-end ownership including technical documentation and automated testing.
• Monitor and support production systems, ensuring reliability and resolving issues effectively.
• Lead peer code reviews, share best practices, and mentor team members.
• Engage with customers to deeply understand their needs and drive user-centric solutions.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Spring/Spring Boot frameworks and building scalable microservices.
• Strong grasp of system architecture and system design principles.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services and environments.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code with thorough documentation.
• Strong testing experience, including unit and integration testing.
• Exceptional communication skills in Hebrew, Arabic, and English, and a collaborative team mindset.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Residence in Jerusalem is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience driving large-scale projects from design to deployment.
• Ability to analyze, understand, and enhance existing codebases.
• Familiarity with modern development practices, including DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Flexible to work across time zones and collaborate with global teams.
