Senior Procurement lead

Infinidat is looking for a Senior experienced Procurement Strategic / category procurement leader to manage E2E strategic (a)parts and OEM components with deep involvement with Supply Chain and Product / R&D teams. You will be responsible for components sourcing, supplier management, vendor negotiation and driving cross functional activates for cost reduction, introduction of new components and alternatives to improve company competitiveness and assurance of supply.

This position is expected to significantly contribute to company competitiveness by working closely with global teams to understand their business needs, identify potential suppliers, negotiate strategic contracts, and manage vendors relationships. You will lead procurement strategies and initiatives to ensure the company sticks to budget and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage all procurement Category activities
• Manage A parts cost & supply, Define A parts procurement strategy
• Conduct supply market research to provide category intelligence and benchmarks on industry dynamics, trends, and best practices.
• Build excellent relationships with respective global functions in the organization to understand their procurement needs, act as a subject matter expert and effectively lead procurement initiatives.
• Managing engagements and negotiations with strategic vendors / suppliers
• Supplier category management
• Own AOP Cogs, Identify and lead cost reduction initiatives to achieve financial goals.
• Build and maintain long term relationships with suppliers and monitor suppliers' performance.
• Monitor procurement OEM/category metrics KPI.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Technologies Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA – advantage)
• Over 7> years’ experience and In-depth knowledge of managing Strategic / direct procurement category
• “Hands on” leading and execution A parts category (from sourcing to execution)
• Technical knowledge / background in Storage / Servers / Capital equipment or similar area – advantage
• Experience in High-tech company
• Strong sourcing, market research capabilities and long-term suppliers’ management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication skills, presentation, both written and spoken English and Hebrew.
• Excellent personal relationship (internal/external)
• Self-driven with ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.
• Solid skills in Microsoft office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, BI tools), ERP – NetSuite – advantage
