Junior / Associate Product Manager

Novotalk is a startup that offers an on-demand therapy platform for speech and other disorders. It is currently seeking a Junior/Associate Product Manager (JPM).

The JPM will bridge the gap between the clinical product manager and the development team. The hybrid position is based on either Bnei Brak (clinical office) or Netanya (R&D team).

We’ve been successfully helping people with speech disorders in Israel for a couple of years now, and we’re currently gearing up to launch our service in the US using a more novel platform. The company is in the post-seed stage and has partnered with Israeli and US health leaders. Most importantly, the company is not just about cool technology: Its mission is to help people with speech impairments gain a quality of life they never thought they could have.

Main Responsibilities of the JPM

• Manage product requirements and their translation to actionable outcomes for the R&D team.
• Work closely with the R&D team to ensure they work according to plan and the system's design for planned version releases.
• Regular visits and interviews with clinicians, employees, and stakeholders of Novotalk to identify product requirements and user stories. Translate the product requirements to issues on Jira and their use cases on Confluence.
• Build training programs and their content for the various types of users.
• Provide functional QA on Jira tasks
• Provide various support to the senior management team as required.
• Independent learning, training in the methods and tools of product management, and professional and personal development with the support of experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience in product and/or project management in software development for an online product is a huge plus. Otherwise, the ability to self-learn is a must.
• Fluency in project management software (Jira) is strongly desirable. Fluency in Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.
• Knowledge of the speech therapy domain, generally in healthcare services, is a plus.
• Great people skills and good communication skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and coordination skills.
• A high degree of personal initiative, learning ability, and willingness to learn is a fundamental prerequisite.
• Fluency (written and oral, mother tongue or equivalent) in English and Hebrew is essential.
• Ability to travel to the US as needed.
