DevSecOps Team Leader

We’re looking for a DevSecOps Team Leader with a strong DevOps background who has a passion for security and enjoys integrating security practices into cloud infrastructure. This role will lead a DevSecOps team, working closely with various teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a DevSecOps team, acting as a central point for security-related initiatives within the DevOps organization.
• Collaborate with the DevOps leadership team to design and implement secure, automated, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.
• Drive the adoption of security tools, frameworks, and best practices across the organization, ensuring smooth integration into existing DevOps workflows.
• Mentor and grow team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Security, and Product teams to align security measures with operational needs.
• Implement and automate security processes within CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to enhance efficiency and reduce vulnerabilities.
• Stay ahead of emerging security trends and continuously improve security practices across the cloud environments.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience leading DevOps teams with a focus on incorporating security principles into cloud infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of cloud environments, particularly AWS, with hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and security tools (e.g., KMS, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, SSO).
• Passion for integrating security into DevOps, with familiarity in security tooling (e.g., Snyk, Wiz, Aqua) and cloud-native security practices.
• Strong collaboration skills, working closely with internal teams to ensure security is embedded in every step of the DevOps process.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Experience in building and leading teams, driving a culture of security-first thinking and operational excellence.
