Responsibilities:

• Be a hands-on leader, actively writing code and contributing to the development of our demand planning and supply chain management  platform. Identify emerging technologies and trends to inform product development and innovation.
• Develop and implement the R&D strategy to align with our business objectives in demand planning and supply chain management.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of R&D professionals,  including offshore teams ensuring effective communication and alignment with project goals.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of R&D projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to align R&D efforts with market needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in R&D in a start-up environment
• Previous management experience leading R&D teams.
• At least 3 years of experience of BE developing in Python
• Familiarity with FE development, specifically TypeScript and React.
• Experience working in cloud environments (we are on Azure).
• Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
