Embedded Software Engineer

An Israeli high-tech company is a pioneer in automatic fire suppression systems, developing optical sensors and automated extinguishing systems. The company's clients include militaries and security forces around the world for combat and tactical vehicles, as well as global companies in the oil and gas sector.

In 2015, the company was acquired by a large American corporation.

The role involves developing embedded systems in C/C++, working with x86, ARM, and Linux.

The company is located in southern Israel and employs approximately 155 people locally.

Job requirements:

• Degree in software engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3 years in embedded SW development C/C++
• Ability to translate software requirements into design specifications.
• Experience in heterogenous system including x86, ARM architectures, and Linux kernel and/or embedded system development (e.g., BSPs). Expert practical experience in developing embedded systems software using C (and Assembler where appropriate).
• Experience with real-time control systems or embedded operating systems- knowledge of embedded system hardware peripheral blocks low-level operation
• Fluent English
