Cyber Security Engineer

A startup company in the cybersecurity field helps thousands of organizations worldwide build defense strategies against cyberattacks, block attacks in real time, and recover after incidents.

The company works with executives, boards, IT teams, and cybersecurity researchers from leading companies globally, including those on the Fortune 500 list.

This profitable and highly successful company was founded in 2015 and acquired in 2018 by an investment firm. Since then, they have doubled their valuation and continue to aim for an IPO.

Located in Tel Aviv, near a train line, and operate a hybrid model with two days in the office. Currently, they have 230 employees, 180 of whom are in Israel.

Role Overview:

You will be part of a team of four, reporting to the Head of the department.

Your responsibilities will include leading the onboarding of new customers and implementing the product at their sites.

You will also perform integrations and connect all customer products to the company’s environment. This diverse and dynamic role involves working with logs and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements-

• 4 years of hands-on experience as a Cyber Security Engineer in the cyber security industry.
• Relevant experience may include working as a SOC/MSSP Integrator, SOC/MSSP Tier 3 Analyst with integration experience, or Cyber Security Engineer role.
• Very high proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in implementing EDR, SIEM, email security, WAF, NAC, and firewall cyber security solutions.
• Experience with providing technical guidance and support to global clients.
• Familiarity with log collection methodologies and systems, auditing policies, and maintaining visibility across networks, hosts, and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding and proven experience working with cloud security environments, architectures, and solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working with Linux operating systems (proficiency in Linux command-line tools, including file manipulation, system administration, and troubleshooting).
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL.
• Familiarity with cyber security industry standards and best practices.
