Senior Data Engineer

Role overview

We're seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our innovative engineering team.

As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and pipelines. Your role will involve transforming complex data requirements into efficient, scalable solutions that drive tangible value for our business and customers.

What you'll do

• Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes over terabytes of data
• Develop and maintain our data warehouse architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality solutions
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems
• Contribute to the architectural design of our data platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering

What you'll bring

• Passion for data, a strong learning mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in dbt and SQL
• Experience with big data technologies such as Snowflake or similar
• Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions, preferably on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with database technologies like PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar
• At least 5 years of experience in software development (Go, Java, Python, C#, etc.)
• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English
• Advantageous: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Superset, QuickSight)
