R&D Scientific Engineer Junior

We are looking for a motivated, hard-working junior application engineer / researcher with the appropriate background to support R&D and pilot projects. The main responsibilities of an engineering scientist comprise providing accurate working solution for the industry and backing up their findings with research and analysis.

Main activities

Develop the formulation & application methods for implementation of our technology  in materials and processes by understand at which stage of the production line we can implement our solution in compliance with regulation and industrial standards

Responsibilities of an engineering scientist include:

·        Actively participating in designing and developing adequate solution of the assigned task in accordance with the company's project budget and quality standard

·        Preforming research experiments and assisting the lab attendant in carrying out the lab functions

·        Supervising the project execution, collecting field data, logging operations, etc., and completing the assigned work as per schedule

·        Analyzing the collected data from various resources, preparing technical reports, engineering proposals, and conducting presentations at industry workshops

·        Analyzing the test failures and devising practical approach towards its solution based on engineering principles

·        Writing complex technical specifications in the engineering report based on the project research and other engineering investigations

·        Writing professional documents for clients, subcontractors, and investors.

·        Coordinating with subcontractors and outsourcing services for carrying out the technical work

·        Communicating with assistant research scientists, providing them working guidelines, relevant research materials, etc., for proper execution of project responsibilities

·        Tracking and maintaining the charge and expense reports, invoice approvals, collection records, etc., as per the company procedures

·        Planning the working of research project, to carry out the project responsibilities with limited assistance

·        Developing test plans for engineering R&D department as well as planning and scheduling project accordingly

Required Qualifications and Skills

·        Master’s degree in chemistry /material engineering

·        Industrial experience in R&D Lab (at least 1-2 years job experience).

·        To have a basic set of skills in technical writing, documentation, and formal communication.

·        Knowledge in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

·        Organized, creative and logical thinking, and innovative problem-solving ability.

·        Global view on each project

·        Ability to jump from pure research to applicative solution.

·        Highly organized and detail-oriented, responsible, self-motivated, and independent

·        Hands-on approach

·        Excellent English, particularly in technical writing

·        Fast learner

·        Good communication skills

·        Team player

Working Conditions

·        Though occasionally, you may have to visit the field for reviewing the progression of their respective research project.
