A startup company in the Insurance Tech field has developed an innovative digital insurance platform revolutionizing the purchase, underwriting, and management of insurance for shared homes in the U.S. The U.S. housing market is valued at $24 billion, and the company operates in more than 14 locations across the U.S., with ongoing expansion.

Their development offers a quick, online process for comparing insurance quotes and selecting the right policy in under five minutes, driven by data and AI. The platform is available to both private customers (B2C) and insurance agents across the U.S. (B2B).

The company is located in the Sharon area, with one work-from-home day per week, and has about 70 employees.

The company is stable and rapidly growing, with paying customers, having recently completed a Series B round and raised over $55M to date

The role is part of a team working on research-to-production tasks in the fields of Computer Vision and Deep Learning in a GCP, AWS, MLOps, PyTorch, and TensorFlow environment. The position involves showcasing research capabilities and research understanding, alongside work in deployment, Cloud environments, and more. They are also planning to expand into NLP projects soon.

Requirements

• M.Sc./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar, with specialization in deep learning and computer vision.
• 5 years of experience in Computer Vision (CV)
• 3 years of experience in Deep Learning
• Experience in Python development
• Experience with Cloud development
