• Responsible for
• The successful execution of KG the site construction works in accordance with the project safety and other Safety KPIs as needed.
• Overall responsibility for the construction safety work condition with the main Construction manager (building contractor)
• Overall responsibility for safety according to the Israeli regulations & to Air Products (AP).
• Daily safety activities in the construction sites as needed.
• Maintain a strong and effective professional working relationship with the AP site responsible persons as: Project Management, Client, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain an open and effective communication channel with the site project team, Site Project Manager and with the IL AP Construction Manager & Israeli authorities as needed.
• Manage the daily safety activities in the sites &filling daily audits forms in construction site.
• Support to the managers and supervisors responsible for implementing the company's EHS Management System and for compliance with national legislation across Israel Industrial Gases business.
• Safety routine activities as: coaching in Behavioral Safety and Human Factors, training in Life Saving Standards, advising on workplace risk assessments, accident and incident investigation, carriage of dangerous goods (Chemicals & Gasses) support, environmental compliance advice; proactive identification and management of emerging EHS management system issues.
• Provision of on-site support to operating facilities in extraordinary circumstances e.g. during major projects, complex shutdown activities or major modifications
• Deliver EHS classroom and virtual training in accordance with EHS&Q objectives.
• Provide ongoing BSP behavioural safety coaching and assessment for all levels of Israel.
• Assist Line Management ensure that all incidents are adequately investigated, and effective corrective actions are implemented.
• Assist in developing bespoke risk assessments necessitated by high-risk activity or by deviation from established base policy, working with Process Safety and other resources as required.
• To aid and support as a Subject Matter Expert in nominated specialist health and safety topics for Israel Industrial Gases and the European EHS&Q team.
• Leading ISO14001, 45001 standards.
• Provide strong leadership and coordination to ensure the site team is working effectively to achieve the project KPI’s.
• Identify and address risks and issues, escalating to the Site Project Manager and Senior Project Manager as required.
• Manage time capture and approvals for all reimbursable supervision team resources as required.
• Deputy for the EHS Manager when needed.
