Product Manager

Essential Functions

The Data Services team at NetApp helps customers protect and govern their data wherever it lives. We are responsible for driving preference for our primary storage platforms through a consolidated set of data protection and governance offerings.

In this role, as Product Manager, you will focus on delivering a multi-hybrid cloud storage solution with 1000+ customers, which is a crucial part of our protection portfolio, and realizing our vision and strategy. You will apply strong technical and business acumen to synthesize market and technology trends to develop product roadmaps and specifications with a laser focus on customer experience. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers and designers to build amazing products. You must be a strategic thinker, extremely results-driven, technologically savvy, and skilled at collaborating and building relationships.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Use a customer-centric approach to execute product vision, direction, and business plans, including product plans and roadmaps, product evolution, and the product lifecycle process.
• Specify technical requirements, develop a roadmap, and provide technical direction.
• Create customer-facing collateral, launch materials, and participate in other activities to evangelize the product and solution.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to determine success.
• Gather and analyze customer data to identify adoption friction, trends, and other customer pain points to inform roadmap decisions.
• Keep track of competition and develop competitive analyses.
• Provide technical training and collateral, including presentations and/or technical FAQs.
• Help resolve technical issues reported by customers on the new or deployed product.
• Manage the new product introduction process to ensure a flawless product launch.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• 3+ years of experience in product management in B2B or cloud businesses.
• A bachelor's or master’s in engineering is required.
• Experience delivering technology products from ideation to post-launch.
• Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, UX/UI, customer support, or marketing is highly desired.
• Familiarity with the storage industry and cloud technologies is highly desired.
• Experience with cloud technology and IaaS/PaaS products, especially Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
• Experience in IT and security infrastructure products is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple cross-organizational projects with different customers and stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment.
• Results-oriented growth mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated the ability to lead and influence teams towards a common goal.
• Fluent English is required.
