Job Description

Western Digital, a global leader in data storage solutions located in Omer, is looking for an Experienced Engineer, to join our High Speed electrical validation lab. Our lab operates state of the art bench equipment and development of test for ASIC electrical tests. The group is responsible for developing and executing automated tests, using advanced lab equipment like JBERT and high bandwidth Oscilloscope, developing test and automation programs for ASIC interfaces tests.

Western Digital, a global leader in data storage solutions, is seeking an Experienced Engineer to join our High-Speed Electrical Validation Lab in Omer. Our lab utilizes cutting-edge bench equipment for ASIC electrical testing and is responsible for developing and executing automated tests using advanced tools such as JBERT and high-bandwidth oscilloscopes. The team focuses on testing ASIC interfaces, ensuring quality through precise analysis and automation development.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to define test requirements.
• Review product documentation to ensure the accuracy and quality of tests
• Develop and implement tests using bench equipment.
• Develop automation tools for test execution.
• Define and manage hardware requirements for board development, including SI/PI considerations.
• Analyze test results and provide conclusions on quality.
• Generate and review test reports with the design team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in high-speed interface validation (e.g., PCIe, USB, SATA, MPHY).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in time-sensitive, resource-limited environments.
• Highly motivated with a strong ability for self-learning.
• Experience with the ASIC development process from design to silicon (preferred).
• Experience in lab equipment automation (preferred).
• Python programming experience (preferred).
