Automation Team Lead

The Automation Team Lead responsibilities will include:

• Build and manage a team of 6-8 test engineers:
• Yearly and quarterly capacity planning and work plans
• Growth plans for team members
• Hands-on technical management
• System design and architecture for end-to-end CICD
• Review the code and design of the Automation Infra engineers
• Collection and integration of requirements from the entire R&D org
• Definition of big building blocks and major enhancements
• Help lead implementation of new/complicated/big modules/features in the most optimized and generic way
• Mentorship & training to teammates and conduct training to other R&D members for ongoing improvement and use of correct tools and methodologies

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of practical experience in operating, analyzing, and debugging complex system
• 4+ years of experience in leading software teams, hiring software professionals and building a highly performing team
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming
• Good Knowledge of TCP/UDP, IP protocols, and understanding of basic OSI model.
• Good knowledge of QA & Test methodology and solution management.
• Strong team player and out-of-the-box thinker.
• Trains team members on technology and project-related aspects.
• Awareness of the Agile process.
• Accountable, taking end-to-end ownership as a personal trait
• Good familiarity with cloud architecture –Advantage
