Job Description

Your Career

We are seeking a driven problem solver to join our Unit 42 Managed Services team.

Our team is responsible for customers internal security monitoring, threat hunting and incident response.

As a software engineer, you will be helping us to scale and build the backend system and tools to help us catch sophisticated attacks.

Your Impact

• Build an application that allows Unit 42 Threat Hunters to monitor, search, and report security incidents
• Work closely with Unit 42 Threat Hunters to allow them to identify stealthy and sophisticated attacks that would otherwise go unnoticed
• Develop tools to enrich security incidents with threat intelligence data
• Contribute to automating detection mechanisms used by the team
• Responsible for analyzing, building, testing, deploying, maintaining and documenting new XSOAR (security orchestration and automation response) playbooks to extend the existing capabilities of the Managed Threat Hunting team
  
  

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 3+ years of software development experience - must
• Solid programming skills in Python - must
• Experience with a variety of database technologies (MySQL/ Google BigQuery/ ElasticSearch) - must
• Experience building highly available, scalable, and performant systems- advantage
• Experience in AWS/GCP/Azure cloud - advantage
• Knowledge of information security - advantage
• Experience with EDR or SOAR platforms - advantage
