Engineering Team Leader JB-3701

A cutting-edge, well funded AI startup developing computer vision algorithms to take security screening to the future is looking for a talented Engineering Team Leader to join the company.

In this position, you’ll be a crucial part in company-wide software R&D aspects, spanning from full responsibility of the entire Algorithmic Software infrastructure to the production software stacks, high scale/performance and architecture

Responsibilities:

● Leading a scrum team comprised of engineers: backend, frontend, manual and Automated QA.

● Be a major contributor to our architecture, design, implementation and maintenance.

● Work closely with the Algorithms, Data and Support teams.

Qualifications:

● B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

● 6+ years of proven hands-on experience in OOP/OOD (at least 3 years in Python)

● 3+ years in team leading positions

● Proficiency in git-scm (Source Control Management) - must

● Hands on experience with modern C++ (11 or later) - huge advantage

● Working knowledge with Networking, Linux, Relational/Non-Relational Databases – huge advantage

● Experience in web technologies (e.g. Django, Flask, Spring, JavaScript, Angular, RESTful etc.) - advantage

● Experience developing/maintaining soft real-time multithreaded systems – advantage
