Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced data solutions using Microsoft Azure's cloud platform. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Azure data services and a proven ability to deliver data-driven solutions that enable business insights, improve operations, and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement data storage, transformation, and management solutions using Azure services (e.g., Azure Fabric, Azure DataBriks, Azure SQL Database).
2. Architect scalable and high-performance data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
3. Design and manage data models, data governance, and data security strategies within the Azure environment.
4. Optimize database performance, monitor systems, and ensure high availability of data.
5. Implement best practices in data management, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
6. Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data retention policies.
7. Stay updated on the latest Azure data tools, technologies, and trends, and recommend improvements or innovations

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure data solutions.
3. Deep understanding of Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
4. Proficient in SQL, Python, and other data processing languages.
5. Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
6. Strong knowledge of data governance, security protocols, and compliance regulations.
7. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in machine learning and AI integrations with Azure services.
2. Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting/visualization tools.
