Job Description

Western Digital, a global leader in data storage solutions located in Omer, is looking for an Experienced Engineer, to join our High Speed electrical validation activities using state of the art bench equipment and development of test for ASIC electrical tests. The group is responsible for developing and executing automated tests, using advanced lab equipment like JBERT and high bandwidth Oscilloscope, developing test and automation programs for ASIC interfaces tests.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with the design team to define test requirements
• Develop tests for the bench equipment.
• Analyze results and come with conclusions about quality level
• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed, i.e., perform manual static testing
• Develop appropriate test automation tools.
• Create requirements and manage HW development for the boards development, Including SI/PI requirements
• Generate test report and review with the design team
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in HS interfaces electrical validation like – PCIe, USB, SATA, MPHY
• Experience in ASIC development process, from design to Silicon – advantage
• Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions within a time and resource limited project environment
• Experience with automation for lab equipment - advantage
• Highly-motivated and self-learning abilities
• Python experience - advantage
