NOC Operator (24/7 Shift-Based)

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Operator to join our 24/7 Operations team. In this role, you'll be responsible for monitoring the availability, health, and performance of our production systems, ensuring business-critical services remain operational around the clock.

You'll be the first line of response to production alerts, working closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Support teams to identify issues, perform initial troubleshooting, coordinate incident response, and help maintain high service availability.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment, solving operational challenges, and contributing to the stability of large-scale systems.

What you will be doing:

• Continuously monitor production systems, applications, and infrastructure using enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Respond promptly to alerts, investigate incidents, and perform first-line troubleshooting.
• Create, update, and manage incident tickets, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the incident lifecycle.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate engineering teams while following established operational procedures.
• Execute operational runbooks, health checks, and routine operational tasks.
• Provide clear and comprehensive shift handovers to ensure seamless 24/7 operations.
• Communicate service status and incident updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to maintaining high service availability and operational excellence.

Who we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), IT Operations, Technical Support, or similar operational environment is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of:
• Windows and Linux operating systems
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN)
• IT infrastructure and production environments
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and ticketing platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A high level of ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Availability to work in a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
