Team player within a networking group that hold technical responsibilities for the operation and administration of the company’s internal network: internet, LAN, Wireless WAN platforms, private clouds, public Clouds, and network security systems: L7 Firewalls, WAF, Web-Gateway, RemoteAceess and NW monitoring tools and automations.

Holds hands-on experience on Software Define systems such as Cisco ACI, VMWARE NSX, OpenShift , SDWAN Cisco/Viptela, Cisco SDAccess & Akamai Guardicore.

What will your job look like?

• Provides Operations and Engineering support to a complex, high availability computing environments with over dozens of branch offices and regional Datacenters spread globally and over different public clouds
• Maintains Documentation, Network Policies and Security standards
• Monitors network for status and potential problems with tools such as Solarwinds Orion(preferred), Cacti/MRTG, Cisco Works, Syslog-ng, HP Openview. (Experience in deploying or maintaining tool environments a plus)
• Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging state of the art network technologies for problem resolution and project planning
• Preparing hardware and software purchase recommendations proposals
• Contacts vendors of network equipment for technical assistance and problem resolution
• Candidate will be required to be available outside regular business hours to address production problems, perform maintenance, and provide ongoing support. This includes availability both on-site and by telephone. May be required to work any shift including, but not limited to, 12 hour 4-on 4-off work week and/or straight night or weekend shifts without regard to holidays
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in both Networking and Network Security areas
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a global working organization
• Proven experience in a busy, client-focused environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Wireless - Juniper MIST/Cisco in All-Wireless-Office deployment
• Network Management- Solarwinds Orion(advantage)/Cacti/MRTG/Etc
• Scripting and coding (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
